The Sheep’s Back Museum

The Sheep’s Back Museum is one of Naracoorte’s premier attractions. It has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 on Trip Advisor, and is conserved by Australia’s National Trust.

If you haven’t been, or if it’s been at the back of your mind to go again, it’s packed to the rafters with interesting historical artifacts and resources.

The Sheep’s Back Museum is located at 36 MacDonnell Street, Naracoortem, alongside the visitor information centre.

It’s open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (10am-4pm in winter), weekends, and most public holidays (except for Good Friday and Christmas Day).

Entry fees: Adults $7, concession $6, children $3, family $17, groups $6 per person. Guided tours are available and there is wheelchair accessibility.
