The Carter’s Foodland Naracoorte Christmas pageant will be held on the first Friday of next month, December 1.

Activities and food stalls will be in the town squares from 4.30pm, including face painting, jumping castles, donuts, barbecue, cold drinks, coffee, strawberries and cream, and much more.

Kicking off the entertainment is George the Farmer, who will be performing a half hour show from 5.30pm, and is sure to be a hit. George hasn’t been to the pageant for a few years and the organisers are very happy to be welcoming him back.

Following the performance by George the Farmer will be the Christmas pageant itself, led by the Naracoorte Highland Pipe Band, and then the Historic Vehicle Club.

After these two pageant favourites, the parade will continue with business, school and community floats.

To end the parade is Father Christmas, who as always will be riding on the Wennerboom and Hoole float.

After the parade has finished, everyone is encouraged to stay around and be entertained by the talented Scott, from Circus Elements.

Scott captivates his audience with numerous tricks and funny jokes, so be sure to watch carefully so you don’t miss anything.

Food will be available before, throughout, and after the pageant. The variety of food available is fantastic, and everyone’s support for the pageant is appreciated.

As well as Carter’s Foodland, the pageant is supported by the Naracoorte Lucindale Business and Tourism Association.

The NLBTA is a not-for-profit organisation that supports local projects in and around Naracoorte, and the pageant is just one of the events it organises throughout the year.
